A body has been found during searches for a missing Aberdeen man.
Leslie Watts, 63, was last seen at 12.50pm yesterday in the Cornhill area of the city.
A police spokesman said: “Police can confirm that the body of a man has been recovered in the Berryden Road area of Aberdeen today as part of efforts to trace Leslie Watts, 63, who had been reported missing from the Cornhill area.
“The body is yet to be identified but Mr Watts’s family have been made aware of the developments.
“There are no apparent suspicious circumstances and as is standard a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
