The emergency services were called to the scene of the blaze near Clinterty shortly after noon. The occupant of the car escaped without any serious injuries, but fire teams were faced with a “well-developed” blaze. Police have shut the A96 at Blackburn and Tyrebagger while the road is being cleared.
