Picture by Twitter user @adamwright Flooding is expected in parts of the north-east tomorrow. Ealier tonight, the Met Office issued a flood alert for Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire. Heavy rainfall is expected to cause rivers and waterways to flood. Localised flooding is also expected during any particularly heavy spells of rain. Flooding in some parts of the area is expected to continue into Saturday.
