Several roads have closed this morning as snow falls across the north.
Motorists can expect a longer journey today than usual and should drive with care.
Police have advised that all routes in the Grampian area are yet to be gritted and so are particularly hazardous.
Corgarff/Tomintoul
The A939 is closed in its entirety from Tomintoul to A93 at Ballater due to drifting snow
Braemar/Spittal of Glenshee
Following heavy snowfall, police have closed the A93 between Braemar and the Tayside boundary.
Crathie
The B976 between Crathie and Gairnshiel is closed at the A93 to the A939.
Ballater
The road from Crathie – Gairnshiel is closed. The junction between the A93 and the A939 has been closed due to drifting snow
Peterhead
Police have closed the road at the junction of Charlotte Street and Uphill Lane, while Errol Street remains closed following yesterday’s fish factory fire.
The junction between St Peter Street and York Street also remains closed following the fire.
