A fire crew from Inverness attended an incident earlier today after a vehicle was reported as being on fire in Inchmore on the Beauly Firth.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokeswoman said: “We received a call at 12.44pm from the owner of a vehicle who contacted us to say their vehicle was smoking.
“One appliance from Inverness was dispatched before multiple calls were received alerting us that the vehicle was on fire.
“The crew used two hose reel jets and two breathing apparatus to extinguish the fire before a stop message was received shortly after 1pm.”
