Vehicle fire on A82 safely extinguished

Firefighters have returned to base after a motorhome caught fire on the A82.

The vehicle stopped in at Onich Service Station in North Ballachulish this afternoon before catching fire shortly after noon.

Two fire crews from Fort William were dispatched to the scene after receiving initial reports of the blaze at 12.27pm.

The fire was put out prior to the arrival of firefighters, however, crews continued to make the vehicle safe.

No-one is believed to have been in the vehicle at the time of the incident.
