Have we seen the last ever RockNess?
From humble beginnings in 2006, the event grew and grew with Mumford and Sons, Paolo Nutini, Ed Sheeran, David Guetta, Madness and Calvin Harris among the acts to join Mr Rockness himself, Fatboy Slim, on the banks of Loch Ness.
Last year the festival was cancelled with organisers blaming a clash with the Commonwealth Games and World Cup for the postponement.
However, it was today confirmed that this year’s event has also been cancelled, sparking fears that we may have seen the last of RockNess.
We take a quick look, year-by-year at some of the best acts to play at Rockness.
