Police are diverting traffic from the A828 as firefighters battle a blaze in a garage at Appin. UPDATE: Home evacuated after garage fire The road has been closed as emergency services work. It is understood that Gunn’s Garage in Appin caught fire early morning and multiple fire engines have been called to the scene. There are also unconfirmed reports on social media of nearby homes being evacuated.
