Officers along with ambulance crews were called to Crown Avenue near the Eastgate Shopping Centre at around 8.15am. The road and a number of neighbouring car parks were cordoned off but re-opened just under an hour later. The identity of the man is not known, but a police spokesman confirmed he was born in 1975.
