One car is believed to have hit the central reservation on the Inshes roundabout on the A9 in Inverness before catching fire. Police and the fire service attended the scene. A police spokesman said: “There doesn’t seem to be any injuries and there was one vehicle involved. “We were called to the Inshes roundabout on the slip road to the A9 after a car was reported to have hit the central reservation and caught fire.” A spokeswoman for the fire service said: “We were called to a vehicle on fire at 9.18pm and we had one appliance in attendance. “We left the scene at 9.40pm.”
