Traffic on the Kessock Bridge has been disrupted this morning after a three vehicle accident. The engine of a lorry caught fire after it was in collision with two cars on the northbound dual carriageway. No one was injured. Two fire crews from Inverness attended the accident, which happened at around 7.50am. They used one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire, which was confined to the engine compartment. A police spokeswoman said that officers attended to direct traffic, which was able to pass the accident using the second lane.
