A bus that caught fire on a major North-east road has been brought under control.
The bus went on fire on the A96 near Lhanbryde, east of Elgin while en route to a garage, at about 12:40pm and had no passengers on board.
More than ten firefighters from Elgin and Fochabers were sent to the double decker blaze.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokeswoman said the fire had been dealt with by the bus driver using a dry powder fire extinguisher.
The crews used a thermal camera to check the vehicle over before leaving the scene.
A police spokeswoman said the bus is now off the road, but drivers are being warned to take care on the road due to fuel spillage resulting from the fire.
