Emergency services are currently attending to a medical emergency on a fishing vessel near Macduff. The coastguard were called to the incident, which happened around 10 north-east of Macduff, at 6.40am. The casualty was airlifted to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. Fraserburgh’s all-weather lifeboat was launched, alongside Macduff’s inshore lifeboat. Banff Coastguard Rescue Team and an ambulance are also at the scene. A rescue helicopter from Inverness also attended.
