Fire crews were called to a fire at an Aberdeenshire bus stop earlier today. The rear of a bus caught fire at around 10.28am on Corse in Crimond near Fraserburgh whilst sitting at a bus stop. Two appliances from Aberdeen were called but the blaze was extinguished by the time they arrived. A spokeswoman said: “The call was made by a member of the public at around 10.40am. “A reel jet hose was used to cool the brakes of the bus before it can be removed from the roadside.” The road remains open.
