Today’s bad weather is disrupting travel in the north.
There are serious delays on the A96 with a fallen tree blocking the road – emergency services are in attendance.
Ferries are affected with the 4.45pm sailing from Stromness and the 7pm from Scrabster both cancelled. Last night’s 6pm from Leriwck to Aberdeen was also called off.
There’s a few fallen trees causing delays on the following roads: Glassel Road between Torphins and Inchmarlo is closed and a diversion via the A980 is in place.
Castel Road in Ellon, Toll of Birness near Mintlaw and the southbound lane between Aberchirder and Banff are also blocked with police diverting traffic.
Skye Bridge is closed to all vehicles.
The Forth Road Bridge is closed to high-sided vehicles, but the Dornoch Bridge is now fully open.

The B974 Banchory to Cairn o’ Mount road is partially blocked near Strachan following a one-vehicle accident.
Riverside Drive remains shut as it undergoes emergency repair work.
Those travelling around the city can expect routine busy-ness around Haudagain, Union Street, Holburn Street and the Beach Boulevard.
In Aberdeenshire Shore Street in Macduff is closed due to a weekend fire at the old Highland Haven hotel.
Watch out for resurfacing work on the A90 outside Laurencekirk and roadworks on the A98 near Easter Whyntie.
And there might be a little congestion around Westhill, heading in to Aberdeen, but nothing too major.
The A93 north of Perth between Scone Palace & Guildtown is closed due to an earlier RTC. Emergency service are clearing now. Check out the map below:
