A busy Banchory road has closed after reports of a gas leak.
Woodside Road is shut in both directions between Upper Arbeadie Road junction and Reamoir Road junction while it undergoes repair work.
Temporary three-way traffic lights are now in place for “motorists’ safety”.
Hannah Brett, a spokesperson for gas distribution company SGN, said: “We were called to Raemoir Road on Sunday evening following a report of a smell of gas.
“Our engineers made the situation safe and we have carried out our repairs.
“We are now in the process of restoring the road surface and once this is complete, we will remove the temporary lights.”
