Aldgate tube station was evacuated, while trains bound for the station were re-routed following a security alert shortly after 9am. However, British Transport Police have confirmed that the station has now re-opened after police fully assessed the situation. #Aldgate is now reopening after a report of a suspicious person at the station – officers responded quickly but no cause for alarm. — BTP (@BTP) November 19, 2015
