Euro 2016 qualifying Group D always looked liked being one of the most difficult groups to qualify from and also one of the most difficult to predict – and both of those facts were confirmed on Saturday night with Poland’s victory over world champions Germany.
Scotland now take on Poland tonight in Warsaw looking to ensure the Poles cannot extend their lead over the Scots – a lead which currently stands at three points.
As always the Tartan Army have traveled in good numbers and even better spirit and the playing squad seem to have made their way to Poland in similar fashion – with defender Grant Hanley the only player forced to pull out due to injury.
Of course it is too early to say this game is a ‘must win’ – or even a ‘must not lose’ – match for Scotland but it is undoubtedly a crucial match which Gordon Strachan and his team will be desperate to take something from.
With that in mind, we take you through everything you need to know ahead of tonight’s match.
