Aberdeen have been linked with a loan move for Manchester City’s teenage goalkeeper Angus Gunn.
Gunn, son of former Dons goalkeeper Bryan, is England’s youth number one and has been watched by Pittodrie scouts.
Gunn is waiting to discover whether he will be promoted to City’s first team squad of 25 for next season or whether he will be sent on loan and manager Derek McInnes has reportedly asked to be kept informed.
The Dons have three goalkeepers in their first team squad in Scott Brown, Jamie Langfield – who will celebrate his testimonial year in July in a friendly against Brighton – and youth team goalkeeper Danny Rogers, who spent last season on loan at Dumbarton.
