Inverness Caley Thistle have confirmed that midfielder Ryan Christie has been allowed to travel to Glasgow to discuss personal terms with Celtic.
A statement released by the Highland club said: “As a result of a further approach from Celtic FC, and following discussions with the management team and the player, the board of Inverness Caledonian Thistle FC can confirm that Ryan Christie has been given leave to travel to Glasgow to discuss personal terms.”
Celtic offered Caley Thistle £500,000 for the midfielder on Friday and the Highlanders are looking to secure a deal which would enable Christie to return to Caley Thistle on loan for the remainder of this season.
