Brora, Cove and Formartine may command much of the attention at the top of the table, but United were impressive against Deveronvale on Saturday, turning on the style in the first half before displaying a determination after the interval they would not be beaten.
Deveronvale goalkeeper Grant Pennet put the shutters up in the first half, but had to admit defeat three minutes from the break when man of the match Andy MacAskill scored the winning goal with a ferocious 12-yard shot.
