Scottish rugby star Max Evans’s partner on Dancing On Ice has been taken to hospital after a fall in rehearsals.
Evans and Ale Izquierdo stumbled while they were rehearsing a lift on Saturday ahead of Sunday night’s show.
The professional skater was taken to hospital after the fall and is now back home recovering, having been told to rest for 24 hours, an ITV spokesman said.
Pictures released by the broadcaster show Izquierdo lying flat on her back on the ice with Evans standing next to her with his hand at his brow.
A man who appears to be a paramedic can also be seen in the pictures, while the moment the fall takes place also seems to have been captured.
Dancing On Ice has been given the green light for another series in 2019 following its return after a four-year hiatus.
The ITV skating programme originally ran from 2006 until 2014, and made a comeback this month for a new series hosted by returning presenters Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby.
