Susannah Constantine has failed to impress the Strictly Come Dancing judges for a second week in a row.
The What Not To Wear star returned to the dance floor with partner Anton Du Beke after they were scored just one point by judge Craig Revel Horwood last week.
The duo performed a foxtrot to They Can’t Take That Away From Me by Frank Sinatra and Natalie Cole, but still failed to impress him.
He told the duo: “Even the smoke couldn’t cover that, a complete disaster,” and again scored them just one point.
The sentiment was echoed by Bruno Tonioli, who told Du Beke: “You could have got better movement from a lamppost.”
The pair were at the bottom of the leaderboard for a second week in a row after they scored just 12 points out of a possible 40, but Darcey Bussell told them: “You’re going to be here next weekend if I’ve got anything to do with it.
At the other end of rankings was Pussycat Doll Ashley Roberts, who performed a cha cha cha to Earth Wind and Fire’s Boogie Wonderland with partner Pasha Kovalev that scored 32 points.
Revel Horwood told the singer: “You are good, darling,” while Bussell said: “That is a recipe for success.”
Tonioli said: “That was an amazing cha cha disco dazzler, if that doesn’t get you in the mood for dancing, nothing will, and your hips, they don’t lie.”
Steps singer Faye Tozer also delivered an impressive performance with a Viennese waltz to It’s A Man’s World by Seal, with her partner Giovanni Pernice.
Bussell told them: “You took my breath away, your musicality, the phrasing, the drama you brought to a Viennese waltz.”
Shirley Ballas praised the “lovely storytelling”, but criticised Tozer’s technique, prompting a heated debate with Revel Horwood, who urged them not to listen to the head judge.
He said: “That was absolutely gorgeous. This is probably the best dance we’ve seen tonight.”
Tonioli apppeared in agreement, saying: “After Bodyguard this was one of the most compelling dramatic intertwined action I’ve seen between a man and woman in a long time.
“Such passion and such sensuality, I believed every moment.”
Also sitting comfortably near the top of the leaderboard was social media star Joe Sugg who danced a charleston to Cotton Eye Joe by Rednex, with a routine inspired by his training as an apprentice roof thatcher.
Sugg and partner Dianne Buswell appeared from behind a small thatched cottage for the energetic performance, for which they wore sparkly checked shirts.
it was not such an easy night for presenter Katie Piper, who performed a paso doble to Confident by Demi Lovato with her professional partner Gorka Marquez.
Revel Horwood branded her performance “very stomp-y” and “very plank-ish”, while Ballas said: “You have channelled your inner strength and you looked like it was going to go well and then you go on the wrong foot pretty much straight away.”
Piper was visibly upset when she was scored just two by Revel Horwood and received a total score of 13.
The second live show of the series also saw Stacey Dooley take on a cha cha cha, Casualty actor Charles Venn attempt a quickstep and Graeme Swann try an American smooth.
Newsreader Kate Silverton impressed with her fiery tango while Lee Ryan channelled Elvis Presley for a jive.
Danny John-Jules performed a cha cha cha while DJ Vick Hope delivered a romantic waltz and Dr Ranj Singh raised smiles with his salsa.
Paralympian Lauren Steadman performed a charleston while comedian Seann Walsh struggled with a jive.
Strictly Come Dancing continues on BBC One on Sunday at 7.15pm.
