Top Gear presenter Andrew “Freddie” Flintoff has revealed his wife Rachael Wools gave birth to their fourth child at Christmas and shared details of his name.
The couple, who have been married since 2005, welcomed son Preston over the festive period.
They are already parents to children Holly, 15, Corey, 14, and Rocky, 12.
Broadcasting from home on talkSPORT Breakfast with co-hosts Laura Woods and Ally McCoist, he said: “Little Preston was born at Christmas – it is the first time I’ve actually spoke about it, but yeah we have got another baby and it has been nice spending time with him.”
Revealing he is named after his home town, he said: “He’s called Preston and I’m from Preston.”
Asked by Woods: “So it was inspired! Did you do a David Beckham?” Flintoff replied: “Well, that’s the difference between our two lives; his lad’s called Brooklyn and my lad is called Preston!”
It was first revealed the former England cricket captain and Wools were expecting again in October 2019 when she showed off a baby bump at the Attitude Awards in London.
