Emergency crews were dispatched to The Square around 2.55am and remained on the scene for around four hours. Four firefighters with breathing apparatus entered the building, with two hose reel jets and a main jet used to contain the fire. It is understood the two-storey detached building was well alight. No one was hurt in the fire, a spokeswoman for Scottish Fire and Rescue said. Crews stood down at 7.05am today. Scottish Fire and Rescue dealt with two further blazes in the North last night. Crews were dispatched to Miller Street, Inverness, around 8.30pm following reports of a fire. A thermal imaging camera was used to detect any occupants, but no one was found at the property. In Wick, a fire at a first-floor flat in Wellington Street was reported. Crews attended at 12.20am. No injuries were reported.
