Celebrity Big Brother star Bradley Riches has announced he is engaged to boyfriend Scott Johnston, just weeks after leaving the reality show house.
The 22-year-old Heartstopper actor revealed his partner popped the question in a romantic proposal at a scenic overlook.
Sharing photos of the couple embracing and a close-up of a ring on his finger, he wrote on Instagram: “08/04/2024. Erm… YES!
“I never thought I’d find someone who’s gets me and loves me for me.
“I have always struggled connecting my emotions in relationships and then @scottjohnston1.8 came.
“I felt safe and accepted and most importantly loved. I love you endlessly.”
In the photos the pair are standing inside a heart made out of rose petals.
It appears Johnston proposed at sunset while abroad, at a spot with with beautiful sea views.
Riches, best known for playing James McEwan in the Netflix series Heartstopper, came sixth in the recent series of Celebrity Big Brother on ITV.
His co-stars rushed to offer good wishes, with Ekin-Su Culculoglu writing: “Congratulations to you both.”
Series winner David Potts wrote: “OH MY GODDDDDDDDD AHHH CONGRATULATIONS BABY.”
