Many of the actresses at the Critics’ Choice Awards wore white, with Angelina Jolie in a shoulderless frock, slit to the thigh, with a feathered detail, on the blue carpet.
Actresses Kate Bosworth and Diane Kruger followed suit.
Saoirse Ronan donned a cream dress, which she contrasted with dark lipstick.
Winner Margot Robbie, who triumphed for her role in I, Tonya, wore a black and grey ruffled dress with a gold belt.
Laura Dern, who also won for Big Little Lies, and Elisabeth Moss, a prize-winner for The Handmaid’s Tale, stuck to black at the ceremony, which honours TV and film.
The Shape Of Water and Big Little Lies were the big winners of the night, each taking home four awards.
