Coronation Street viewers were left in tears as Toyah Battersby revealed her surrogate had lost her baby.
Toyah, played by Georgia Taylor, is desperate to be a mother and decided to use a surrogate after failing to fall pregnant herself.
Her dream of having a baby was shattered during Monday night’s instalment of the ITV soap, when she told Eva (Catherine Tyldesley) that the surrogate had lost the baby.
