Actress Jaime King has described an “incredibly violent” attack on a car containing her four-year-old son, causing glass to rain down on him.
The Sin City actress, 38, on Thursday also hit out at photographers who are also being investigated by police after she said they documented the attack rather than attempting to halt it.
She was not in the car with son James during the attack at around 4.40pm in Beverly Hills, California, on Wednesday, but a friend who confronted the suspect was.

“The attack was incredibly violent and my four-year-old son was obviously the target of the individual’s brutal attack, which is terrifying,” she wrote on social media.
She thanked police and bystanders who stepped in and called for more resources to combat the mental health, drug addiction and homelessness crises that grip Los Angeles.
“I want to believe that we live in a world where human integrity comes before documenting an attack, I’m saddened that the paparazzi chose to terrorise my son and by shoving cameras in our face during an attack, whilst he was shaking and crying instead of trying to help,” she said.
“My brave friend Judit Balogh used her self-defence training to try and keep the individual from harming James Knight while glass was shattering on him, as the perpetrator jumped on the roof until it collapsed and kicked in windows trying to get to him.”

The Los Angeles Times has reported that homelessness across much of the county increased from 32,000 to 55,000 in the past six years, with poverty being on plain view in the notorious Skid Row as well as wealthy areas such as Beverly Hills.
Her friend, the driver, was with a boy in the car, which was one of two vehicles targeted, Beverly Hills Police Department spokeswoman Lieutenant Elisabeth Albanese said.
Lt Albanese also said the force is investigating “several paparazzi” who were photographing the incident over “intentional harassment of a child”.
Paul Floyd, 47, of Los Angeles, was arrested on suspicion of child endangerment, battery and two counts of vandalism and is being held on 100,000-dollar (£71,000) bail ahead of a court appearance on Friday, police said.
