Katie Price has stuck her tongue out at those making negative comments after she failed to finish the London Marathon.
The glamour girl, 39, took part in Sunday’s run to raise funds and awareness on behalf of her mother, who has idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF), and had vowed to complete the race even if she had to crawl over the line.
However, she did not manage to finish, with reports suggesting she did not train and had to pull out due to a knee injury.
Katie – who dressed as a pair of lungs for the race – later posted a video of herself and her mother on Instagram, in which she blows a raspberry at the camera and insists: “I did train for the run, tried my best in a heavy outfit and if my mummy is proud that’s what matters to me.”
In the video, the star’s mother, Amy Price, 64, says: “Hello everyone, I would just like to say how proud I am of my daughter Katie for doing the marathon.
“She may not have completed it but she has brought so much awareness, it’s been worth it for the British Lung Foundation.”
Katie then sticks her tongue out, blowing a raspberry.
Amy was diagnosed with IPF – the same disease which killed Keith Chegwin – last year.
The illness causes fibrosis, or scarring of the lungs, making them stiffer and thus more difficult to breathe.
