Rapper Cardi B has announced her long-awaited debut album will arrive next week.
The US star, 25, unveiled the record’s cover and name on Instagram on Tuesday.
Titled Invasion of Privacy, Cardi B – real name Belcalis Almanza – poses in a black and white checkered suit and short blonde pixy haircut in the kitschy cover art.
She wrote on Instagram: “My album cover !!! LADIES AND GENTS ! My album INVASION OF PRIVACY will be out next week April 6!”
It is the rapper’s first full-length LP and comes more than a year after she signed to Atlantic in February 2017.
In January the former stripper claimed she “can’t talk about certain things on the album, because I’d go to jail” in an interview on Beats 1.
One fan on Twitter, @Rimbello, wrote: “Cardi B’s new ‘Invasion Of Privacy’ album cover is giving me slight Vibes of Madonna, Lady Gaga, Missy Elliott and Lil Kim All mixed together!
“You know the people she named as her IDOLS. I loved a humble Student of the game that pays Homage to Legends who came before her.”
@Vee_YoungSavage tweeted: “Cardi album cover is fire and the name is so fitting for her..I hope the album fire tho. It’s about to make or break her.”
