Irish band Snow Patrol will return to headline Latitude Festival this year, more than a decade after headlining the inaugural event in 2006.
Also on the bill for the festival, which takes place in July at Henham Park, Suffolk, are George Ezra, Lana Del Rey and Underworld.
Snow Patrol said: “We headlined the very first Latitude in 2006 and we are absolutely delighted to headline this year again. It’s a great festival and has a special place in our hearts. We can’t wait.”
Singer-songwriter Ezra, who will headline the Friday night, scored a number one album with his platinum-selling second record Staying at Tamara’s.
He said: “It’s no secret that I’m a big Latitude fan. I’ve been to the festival numerous times as a performer and punter, so to be coming back in 2019 as a headliner – five years after my last performance – is a real treat.
“The reception to my second album Staying At Tamara’s has been beyond my wildest dreams and I can’t wait to rock up in Suffolk to play the songs for everyone. See you there!”
Ahead of the release of her sixth album, Norman F***ing Rockwell, due for release this year, Lana Del Rey will also take to the festival’s main stage.
Also on the line-up are acts such as Loyle Carner, Neneh Cherry, Sigrid, Cat Power, Khruangbin, Anna Calvi, Primal Scream and Slaves.
The festival – now in its 14th year – includes non-music acts such as comedians Jason Manford, Michelle Wolf and Russell Kane.
Manford said: “I’ve always loved performing at Latitude and I can’t wait to headline the Comedy stage this year. The festival audience is a true example of my show Muddle Class – drinking champagne whilst watching Liam Gallagher in a (hopefully sunny) field!
“This year’s line-up is amazing as usual, sharing the headline slot with the likes of George Ezra, Snow Patrol, Underworld and Primal Scream is going to be fantastic!”
Latitude Festival takes place July 18 – July 21 at Henham Park, Suffolk.
