Myleene Klass has said she is “thrilled” to be returning to host a glitzy awards ceremony alongside Rochelle Humes and Roman Kemp for the second time.
The classical musician and broadcaster will join Humes and Kemp to present the second annual Global Awards, which sees Little Mix, Lady Gaga, Drake, Arctic Monkeys and Ariana Grande among the nominees.
The awards ceremony was launched last year by entertainment and media company Global, whose brands include major UK radio stations Capital, Heart, Classic FM, Smooth, Radio X, Capital XTRA, Gold and LBC.
Klass said: “I am thrilled to be back hosting The Global Awards again on behalf of Classic FM and Smooth.
“I don’t know any other awards show where you’d get the chance to see the world’s greatest pianist Lang Lang and our very own Little Mix perform on the same stage. I genuinely cannot wait.”
Former Saturdays star and This Morning presenter Humes said she was “flattered to be asked back” to co-host the ceremony.
Capital Breakfast host Kemp added: “The calibre of talent that Global brings together under one roof is phenomenal, with performances from some of the world’s biggest artists. It promises to be an amazing night and I can’t wait.”
The show will include performances from the likes of Mark Ronson, Little Mix, Blossoms and Anne-Marie.
Categories at the ceremony include best song, best group and social media superstar, each of which is open to a public vote, and best male and best female artists.
There will also be a most played song prize, given to the track that has had the most airplay across Global’s group of stations from December 12 2017 until December 11 2018.
The Global Awards with Very.co.uk take place at London’s Eventim Apollo Hammersmith on Thursday March 7.
