Melanie Brown has called out her Spice Girls co-stars Geri Horner and Victoria Beckham in a TV interview, dubbing them both bitches.
Talking to Piers Morgan for his Life Stories programme on ITV, the pop star also detailed the racial abuse she encountered as a child, and said that ex-partner Eddie Murphy is still the love of her life.
Brown, best known as Mel B, was asked by Morgan how she feels about Beckham, who has decided not to join the current Spice Girls reunion tour.
She said: “(She’s) a bit of a bitch, but I love her.”
Brown added: “I mean, us five were together and now we’re going on tour as four. We’re gutted that she’s not going to be with us, but I’m still going to hold that candle and hope that she will be.”
In the interview, which was recorded earlier this year, Brown also told of how she has not yet forgiven Horner for leaving the pop group in 1998.
The singer said: “I was so sad. I was really, really, really angry, because we started this together, us five, and it wasn’t meant to happen if it’s not us five.
“And she left the day before my birthday, just to really stick it to me. What a bitch.”
She told Morgan that she does not think she ever got over Horner’s departure at the height of their fame, adding that she still reminds her about it.
“It bothers me, because we were so solid, and we know each other inside out, us five girls,” she said.

During the interview, Brown, who is mixed race, touched upon the racist abuse she and her family faced during her childhood in Leeds, saying that she would be called the N-word and “half-breed”, among other things.
She said: “It wasn’t easy for my mum and dad. My mum would hand me to my father when they took the bus to stop him possibly from being beaten up by racists.
“I’d get chased home from school being called the worst words.”
Speaking about her love life and her past relationships, Brown said that Hollywood star Murphy, with whom she has a child, “always will be” the love of her life.
She said that things went “dramatically wrong” between them while she was pregnant with their daughter Angel.
Murphy had publicly denied that he was the father of the baby, demanding a paternity test.
Brown said that Murphy “apologises to this day about that, because that baby was planned, we planned that baby together and we were madly in love”.
The broadcast also saw Brown talk about her suicide attempt several years ago, and talk about her alleged romantic affair with Horner, which was revealed earlier this year.
