Lizzo could not contain her delight after Harry Styles covered one of her tracks on BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge.
The former One Direction heartthrob gave a rendition of the US singer’s track, Juice, when he appeared on the show on Wednesday.
Styles, 25, said the star was “exactly what you want an artist to be”.
Lizzo was quick to respond on Twitter, sharing a picture of Styles in the studio with the word: “Melts.”
Styles also performed some of the tracks from from his newly-released album, Fine Line, delivering scaled down versions of Adore You and Lights Up.
Adding some festive cheer, he sang a cover of Sir Paul McCartney’s Wonderful Christmastime.
Styles unveiled Fine Line, his highly anticipated second album, earlier this month, and told Rolling Stone it was “all about having sex and feeling sad”.
The album is now in the race for Christmas number one.
