Billie Eilish has been announced as a performer for this year’s Oscars – and fans are convinced she will be debuting her James Bond theme.
A tweet on the Academy Awards account said the 18-year-old would be taking to the stage at next month’s ceremony for “a special performance”.
Eilish has recorded the theme song for the forthcoming James Bond film, No Time To Die – becoming the youngest artist in history to write and record a soundtrack for a 007 film.
And now fans believe the US star is likely to be unveiling it at the Oscars.
“Billie Eilish is set to perform her James Bond theme live at the Oscars!” said one excited fan on Twitter.
“Better be Bond!” said another.
“She’s probably gonna perform the Bond song… I’m gonna lose my mind!” said another.
The news comes just days after Eilish swept all four major categories at the Grammy Awards.
The Bad Guy singer came out on top in the so-called Big Four – album, song, record and new artist of the year.
This year’s Oscars ceremony is on February 10.
