Katy Perry has revealed her baby bump during a performance in Australia, just days after announcing her pregnancy.
The US singer announced that she and fiance Orlando Bloom are expecting their first child together with the release of her new music video for Never Worn White last week.
Several days later, Perry performed before the Women’s T20 World Cup cricket final between Australia and India in Melbourne on International Women’s Day.
She appeared in front of a packed crowd in a purple mini-dress, and her growing bump was visible beneath the tight fabric, which was covered with the female gender sign, otherwise called the Venus symbol.
During her stint on the stage, she also donned a bright pink dress with long, flowing sleeves, and teamed the retro look with knee-high pink boots.
The pre-game show marked her first performance since announcing her pregnancy, and she entertained the sports fans with renditions of her hits including Roar and Firework.
Perry, 35, revealed her baby news in the music video for her new single, romantic ballad Never Worn White.
The song appears to have been inspired by her relationship with British actor Bloom, 43, who she has reportedly been dating since 2016.
Perry, dressed in a white dress, sings: “See us in 60 years with a full family tree.”
The video ends with a side-on shot of Perry cradling a baby bump.
Writing on Instagram, the pop star said: “Let’s just say it’s gonna be a jam packed summer.”
She also joked about no longer having to hide her bump, tweeting: “Omg so glad I don’t have to suck it in anymore or carry around a big purse lol.”
On Saturday, Bloom shared a picture of his future wife at the cricket event in Melbourne.
Along with the snap of Perry, he wrote: “My babies blooming.”
