Dancing On Ice star Donna Air headed to the race track in preparation for this week’s show as she took judge Christopher Dean’s instructions on board.
Last week the former Olympic champion told Air and her professional partner Mark Hanretty to give their performances more “va va voom”.
Taking the advice literally, the TV personality and Hanretty headed motor racing where they faced off against each other.
It comes after Air was saved ahead of Bucks Fizz singer Cheryl Baker after they were left in the bottom two in last week’s show.
After a skate-off, judges Jason Gardiner, Ashley Banjo, Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean unanimously agreed that Air was the better skater and deserved to stay in the competition.
While Air and Hanretty were at the race track, rugby union player Max Evans was spotted trying on some revealing PVC costumes with partner Ale Izquierdo in preparation for this week’s show.
Dancing On Ice continues Sunday at 6pm on ITV.
