Dancing On Ice contestant Brooke Vincent broke down in tears as she was praised for the Spice Girls-themed routine she delivered during the show’s semi-final.
The Coronation Street actress – who earlier was pictured in tears as she rehearsed – started to cry when judge Ashley Banjo told her how much she had improved during the ITV skating competition.
Vincent, 25, and her professional partner Matej Silecky scored 33/40 for their routine to the Spice Girls’ Who Do You Think You Are?, which the actress skated to in a Geri Horner style Union flag outfit.
While the score was not as high as those given to Vincent’s competitors Kem Cetinay (35), Jake Quickenden (36.5) and Max Evans (37.5), Banjo told the actress she should be proud because of how much she had grown.
“We have worked really, really hard,” said Vincent, wiping away tears.
Sunday night’s show will see the contestants perform two routines, as they vie for a coveted spot in the final.
The programme has returned after a four-year hiatus with Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby back as hosts.
