Love Island’s Laura Anderson has been left heartbroken for a second time in the series after Jack Fowler ended their romance.
The reality star called time on their relationship after hitting it off with newcomer Laura Crane.
A preview for Wednesday night’s episode shows him kissing the new arrival, not long after calling things off with the flight attendant.
Ending their relationship on Tuesday’s episode, he told her: “I have to be honest with how I’m feeling and I just feel as if as much as I wanted it to work and think what would happen, outside the villa I just can’t see it working.”
Looking crestfallen, Laura replied: “I don’t know what to say.”
Jack added: “I do really like you, I’ve had a crazy journey with you,” before she replied: “Maybe we are just not right for each other, it’s fine.
“You have just got to follow your heart, I can’t stop you from doing that.”
After he asked her for a hug, she replied: “Do we have to? It’s weird, sorry.”
Jack also told her it was up to her where he slept, saying: “If you want your own space I will respect it, I will sleep on the sofa.”
Earlier in the day, Laura said she had concerns about their future, saying in the Beach Hut: “I thought we were on the same page but then we talked about the future.
“Why do we need to stop something that is good, it’s just driving me insane.”
It came after the couple rowed over Jack’s comments about whether he would leave the villa with her or split up.
During Monday night’s instalment, Georgia Steel and Sam Bird opted to split up and become single in the Love Island villa, rather than go home as a couple.
Laura became upset when she learned from Georgia that Jack said he would have done the same thing if he had been in that position.
She confronted Jack, saying: “Just quickly, I just wanted to know, Georgia’s just come up to me and said that you said to Sam that if you were in their situation today, you would 100% stay. I just think it’s stupid for you to say that to Sam.”
Another couple hitting the rocks on Tuesday was doctor Alex George and make up artist Alexandra Cane after Alex admitted his curiosity about newcomer Laura Crane.
Alexandra tells Laura Anderson: “I feel like since the new people have come into the villa, I feel like Alex has just been quite distant.
“I just feel like that connection has maybe fizzled out. I am used to people being quite affectionate.
She later confronts Alex, telling him: “I feel like I’ve had a bad vibe from you.
“I have felt hurt today because I have been made to feel like there are other options for you because you’ve been distant.”
Alex told her: “I just feel in general I just don’t move at at pace that is too quick. I don’t want to rush into a decision. I don’t want to play games with you.
“I would never want to upset you, I just need to take things a bit slower and see how things go.”
This did little to reassure Alexandra, who told him: “I’m just upset that the person I chose to be with probably wants to be with someone else.”
Love Island continues at 9pm on ITV2.
