Claudia Winkleman has revealed she and her Strictly Come Dancing co-host Tess Daly are about to discover this year’s celebrity line-up.
Winkleman revealed that Wednesday marked her “first day on Strictly” ahead of the new series, in a post on Instagram.
She added, teasingly: “Tess and I are about to be told who’s taking part. I’ll let you know….”
Winkleman shared a picture of herself on the set of the BBC One show pulling an excited expression.
Saturdays star Mollie King, who appeared on Strictly in 2017, replied: “Oh my God let me do it again!!!!”
TV presenter Lisa Snowdon replied “but will you though?” in response to Winkleman’s pledge to reveal the line-up.
Strictly judge Bruno Tonioli also got in on the social media action, sharing a picture of himself topless in the make-up chair, getting ready for work on set.
He wrote: “It’s getting close to that time of year again @bbcstrictly.
“On a scale of 1 to 10 how excited are you? Who would be your ideal line up this year?? Xx #bbcstrictly #brunotonioli.”
At the end of July, the dancers for this year’s series, including Anton Du Beke, Oti Mabuse, Pasha Kovalev and Karen Clifton, started work in the dance studio.
Dancer Gorka Marquez tweeted at the time: “We are back!! @bbcstrictly 2018 starts today. Excited for my 3rd series.”
Not yet aware of who his celebrity dance partner will be, he added: “Who will be sharing the dance floor with me and learning to not only dance, but also trying to understand my Spanish Accent? #strictly2018.”
