Jermaine Pennant has said he “wouldn’t shy away” at stint on Celebrity Big Brother.
The former Liverpool and Arsenal player is one of the stars tipped to join the Channel 5 reality show when it returns next week.
He told ITV’s Good Morning Britain: “They’re just probably rumours, I don’t know of yet.
“They may be rumours. I enjoy television, so if that opportunity does arise it’s something I wouldn’t shy away from.”
Other famous faces rumoured to be joining the line up include adult film star Stormy Daniels, who gained notoriety after suing President Donald Trump following an alleged affair, and Samantha Markle, the half-sister of the Duchess of Sussex.
Others also in the frame for a spot on the show are Love Island star Gabby Allen, The Only Way Is Essex cast member Dan Osbourne, and former Coronation Street actor Ryan Thomas.
Rodrigo Alves, a media personality often referred to as the ‘human Ken doll’ because of his numerous plastic surgeries, has also been rumoured to be entering the house, alongside Kieran Hayler, the estranged husband of Katie Price and US star Kirstie Alley, who is best known for her role in Cheers.
Celebrity Big Brother will return to Channel 5 on Thursday August 16 at 9pm.
