Khloe Kardashian has explained why she spent Thanksgiving away from her sisters amid reports of a rift between her family and boyfriend Tristan Thompson.
The reality TV star was in Ohio with Cleveland Cavaliers basketball player Thompson and their eight-month-old daughter, True.
The rest of her family – including sisters Kim Kardashian West, Kourtney Kardashian and Kendall and Kylie Jenner – were in Los Angeles to celebrate the holiday on Thursday.
It led to reports the Kardashian-Jenner clan were still angry over Thompson’s alleged infidelity around the time Khloe gave birth in April.
But the 34-year-old has rubbished the claims and said Thompson’s basketball career meant he could not travel.
She said on Twitter: “Y’all are reaching now. I’ve spent the past 3years in Cleveland for Thanksgiving. Not sure why people are trying to create drama between my family and I. My sisters and I are perfectly fine thank you! All of their families were able to travel but TT being in season, he can not.”
She added: “The truth is never as fun as some story some of you like to create. So here we goooooooooooo!! Happy Thanksgiving I guess lol.”
Thompson, 27, was accused of being unfaithful to Khloe as she was preparing to give birth to True in April.
The controversy was covered on the family’s reality TV show, Keeping up with the Kardashians, and showed the sisters finding out as heavily pregnant Khloe was taken to hospital.
The allegations caused a rift between Thompson and Kim, who unfollowed the athlete on social media and was filmed angrily saying: “I hate him.”
