Kim Kardashian West has shared a picture of herself in a diamond necklace that she said is “very sentimental” because she got it back after it was stolen from her at gunpoint in Paris.
The US reality TV star was robbed of jewellery worth several million dollars by a group of masked men when she visited the French capital in October 2016.
She later said she feared the men would rape and kill her, and that she thought she would never see her family again.
On Monday, the star posted a picture on Instagram of herself wearing the diamond cross, explaining that the people who took it had dropped it in the road.
“2007 throwback,” said the mother-of-three.
“So this necklace that I have on is a diamond cross from Jacob and it was the first piece of jewelry that I bought when I got my first check.
“When I was at robbed this was taken from me.
“However on the way out the robbers dropped one piece of jewelry in the street and this was it.
“It’s very sentimental to me.
“Just wanted to share.”
