Queer Eye’s Jonathan Van Ness paid a glowing tribute to his fellow Fab Five member Tan France as he wished him a happy birthday.
France, the only British host on Netflix’s popular makeover show, celebrated turning 36 on Saturday.
To mark the occasion, Van Ness, who is the grooming expert on Queer Eye, posted a series of pictures of the pair together alongside some kind words.
He wrote: “Happiest happy birthday Tanny-Bannany. You are my voice of reason and wisest of friends.
“You teach me things everyday & there is no way I could’ve known when I met you in that camel colored turtle neck how much you would shape my bb life.
“Im so so so proud of how you’ve handled literally everything you do.”
Van Ness added: “Enjoy your gorgeous day in these snowy mountains you are in love yewwww @tanfrance.”
France, who is from Doncaster, commented: “I LOVE YOU SO MUCH! THANK (sic) FOR THOSE KIND, KIND WORDS!”
France is the fashion expert on Queer Eye, a show which sees the Fab Five help make over the lives of its contestants.
He celebrated his birthday with a trip to a cabin in the woods with friends, sharing a picture of himself sipping tea while sat in front of a snowy background.
He captioned the post: “I moving in, to live the secluded cabin-in-the-woods life. Bye everyone!”
Queer Eye also stars Antoni Porowski as the food expert, Bobby Berk who is in charge of interior design and Karamo Brown, who is given the loose brief of culture.
Queer Eye season three is streaming on Netflix now.
