Fans have been given a fresh glimpse of Star Wars TV series The Mandalorian after Disney released an action-packed trailer.
Set to launch in the US next month on Disney’s upcoming streaming service,
The Mandalorian takes place after the fall of the Empire in 1983’s The Return Of The Jedi.
It features the eponymous bounty hunter – played by Game Of Thrones star Pedro Pascal – who is highly trained and of “questionable moral character”.
The latest trailer opens with a voiceover saying “bounty hunting is a complicated profession” before Pascal is seen fighting a number of enemies and being dragged behind a TIE fighter.
Gina Carano, Nick Nolte, Giancarlo Esposito and Carl Weathers also star in the series.
Executive producer Jon Favreau described The Mandalorian as a “whole new Star Wars in a whole new timeframe”.
The Mandalorian will be one of Disney’s key offerings on its Disney Plus streaming service, and reports in the US suggest each of its eight episodes had a budget of up to $15 million (£11.6 million).
That would put it in the same category as some of the later Game Of Thrones episodes.
Disney Plus will launch in the US on November 12, but no date has yet been announced for the UK.
