Infrastructure group Robertson has won a £1.3million deal to provide electrical and security maintenance services for Perth and Kinross Council.
The three-year contract, which has a 12-month extension option, covers more than 200 of the local authority’s non-domestic sites, including schools, offices and community centres.
The Elgin and Stirling-based group’s facilities management division will be responsible for equipment including intruder and fire alarms, access control, CCTV, lifts and lighting in the buildings.
Robertson Facilities Management (FM) managing director Ian Gibson said: “This is another major contract win for us, and one which we secured in the face of stiff competition.
“From the council’s perspective, we not only showcased excellent value for money but also a real capability to deliver an outstanding service throughout their estate.
“We have a strong understanding and insight into what really matters to them and this particular opportunity will enable us to make a tangible difference to their estate.”
The company already provides facilities management services at the council’s largest office building, Pullar House in Perth, under a £1.5m contract awarded in 2015.
Last week Robertson FM announced it had been successful in a bid to provide services for Cleveland Fire Brigade in the north of England.
The £1million, four-year contract covers cleaning and security services and the supply of consumables across the brigades’ sites.
