For one specialist inspection service, Aberdeen’s newest entertainment venue is the latest to get their seal of approval.

Safelift Onshore has successfully completed part of the internal lifting equipment inspection service as part of their annual contract.

The TECA complex lifting inspections contract is considered one of the largest in the area, but that poses no issues for the Safelift Onshore team.

Director Thomas Innes explained: “We are a small enough company that means we genuinely care and can react very quickly to emergency situations compared to the larger companies that cannot facilitate this.

“Although being a small organisation, we have very high expectations and very big future plans.

“We use the latest software around to enable us to deal with any kind of job efficiently and thoroughly.”

This use of software provides solutions that customers are happy with, including paperless services where requested. The client portal offers access to digital copies of inspection certificates which can be accessed at any time.

The software can also be accessed on site using tablets, which means jobs can be turned around very quickly, something that is not a standard feature in the industry.

Thomas added: “We can provide the customer with an advanced RFID technology solution that generally cuts inspection time by up to 50% in most cases. Site managers can have access to scan items on site using our tablets or their own mobile device to check if a piece of equipment is in inspection date instantly. This is something other companies cannot offer.

“Using our online software to do all the work for us means that we can spend more time with the customer.”

This has proven to be a winning formula for customers.

The business development manager at Air Liquide Oil & Gas Services said: “Air Liquide Oil & Gas Services (ALOS) has engaged Safelift on a long term basis for their NDT services. The technicians on site have been reliable, positive, and diligent in their work ethic and have surpassed all expectations.

“In turn, this has given ourselves a more client centric service provision to the marketplace.

“Safelift have always been exemplary in proactiveness and have supported ALOS through other Safelift business revenues, Safetrade, which has always given ourselves an outstanding service.”

Safelife’s inspection engineers are fully qualified for every task that they undertake and are completely competent. The inspection engineers are minimum LEEA certified, but are certified in their chosen specialist fields as well.

Safelift Onshore offers specialist inspection services that you simply cannot get from another inspection company in the area by way of offering a wide range of services that you wouldn’t normally find consolidated into one company to deal with. This makes life easier from the customers’ point of view.
