The Aberdeen Young Professionals (AYP) Ball returned to the Granite City after a three-year break.
Around 110 people attended the evening held at Union Kirk on October 29.
Almost £2,000 was raised with the money being split between the nominated charities of Charlie House and Roxburghe House.
AYP founder Ross Jolly said: “After a three year hiatus, we were delighted to get the AYP Ball back on the social calendar again.
“A fantastic effort by the committee to get an event of this magnitude organised and huge thanks to the sponsors and companies that donated prizes to assist us raise funds for two local charities.”
Grow and retain talent in Aberdeen
AYP was established in 2009 to create a platform for young professionals to meet useful contacts in a relaxed and sociable environment.
The group holds regular events that offer a unique opportunity to discuss industry issues with senior figures and network with other like-minded individuals.
Earlier this year the group launched its mentoring scheme aimed at growing and retaining talent in the Granite City.
AYP chairwoman Heather Buchan said: “The turnout was amazing, and the enthusiasm of all those who attended was evidence that young professionals across the city have an appetite for networking.
“This event is just one of many ways we are working to bring young professionals together to make a difference in our community.”
