The Scottish Association of Young Farmers’ Clubs (SAYFC) has a new office in the north.
The association’s Grampian region events manager, Joanna Foubister, is now working out of an office at ANM Group’s Thainstone Agricultural Centre in Inverurie.
Ms Foubister will work out of ANM’s new Farm Profit Programme office, which is situated downstairs in the concourse at Thainstone.
SAYFC said the creation of the new office would allow members to buy certificates and stockjudging cards, advertise local events and hand in entry forms at one central base.
The association’s national chairman Stuart Jamieson, of Home Farm, Pitlurg, Slains, Aberdeenshire, said: “Having Joanna situated in ANM will be a huge boost to the Grampian area and the north region – conveniently located for members popping in to make queries, her office is also right in the heart of the farming community.”
SAYFC north region chairman, Lynne Macarthur, said: “We are delighted that Joanna will now be based in office from ANM. Please feel free to pop in and say hello or even let her know your next club or district meeting date or share your news with her.”
Ms Foubister will be based in the office from Monday to Friday with core hours of 10am to 3pm. She can be contacted via email at joanna@sayfc.org or by phone on 07771 399731.
